A place for journalists to discuss their mental health

newsbreak was set up to raise awareness of journalists’ mental health – and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response we’ve had in the two months since we launched.

We’re now really keen to try to make real change in the way newsrooms treat mental health – but to do that, we need to know what’s going on in as many newsrooms as possible.

That’s why we’ve launched the newsbreak survey – which we’d like as many journalists as possible to complete. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in print, radio, TV or online; in a tiny team or national organisation; a full-time staff member or freelancer; we want to hear about your experiences, whether you’ve suffered mental health problems yourself or not.

If you’d like to take part, please sign up with your email below. We only need this to send you a link and password to complete the survey – we do not see or store your email, and it doesn’t form any part of the survey which is completely anonymous.

Thanks so much for helping us.
